Val-U Home Improvements did a fantastic job residing our home with pre-painted James Hardie siding and PVC trim.  We had old cedar shingles and a lot of carpenter ant damage to the plywood sheathing. The crew that worked on our job were true craftspeople. George and his project manager were very responsive when we had questions or concerns. Great experience all around. Amazing work! We recently switched from cedar shingles to vinyl after our painter told us the old shingles were shot. George was wonderful to work with. He gave great options and advice. Our plan was to replace 60-year-old cedar shingles with Hardie LAP siding.  The Hardie company referred us to four qualified contractors in our area.  We excluded the one who denigrated his competitors and the one who was absurdly self-aggrandizing.  George Carroll is a trained engineer, very knowledgeable, provides straightforward answers to questions, and a man of his word.  The job started on time, the crew worked long days in 90+ degree heat, and completed the job in the predicted nine days. The finished product is flawless.
